About Us
Catalyst Studios is a non-profit creative hub that supports aspiring artists in Glasgow, whilst promoting local talent in Scotland.
We’re currently made up of 7 members, all creatives, each developing our own unique practices; ranging from documentary photography to graphic design and fashion illustration. You can find out more about us in the Current Members section.
Catalyst was founded by Joe Habben in 2020 with the aim to nurture and invest in the creative industry in Glasgow. To achieve this, we're looking to provide tenants with a professional working environment, desk space, equipment and access to a community of other creatives to thrive alongside - at an affordable price.
With the yearly turnover of local Scottish-based talent (and other's elsewhere in the UK) being regretfully sucked down to London to chase their career, Catalyst hopes to provide support for people in Glasgow and help catalyse their ambitions within the Scottish creative industry.
We also want to give spotlight to other up and coming talent outside of the studio through our online showcases. Drop us an email to get involved.
