Joe Habben is a photographer, filmmaker based between Glasgow and Brighton, UK.
Joe implements a sensory, existential style of image-making in his projects, ranging from social documentary to editorial fashion. His projects have explored the climate crisis, public space and human intervention.
His debut project In Moleca was widely publicised for its reportage of the Acqua Alta flooding which took place in Venice, Italy in 2019. This ongoing series won the Earth Photo: ‘Climate of Change’ award in 2020.
Joe has collaborated with a range of clients; from large brands to independent charities. These include: Google, United Nations FCC, Bloomberg, Justified Studio, Glasgow City Council, Fashion Revolution, The Scottish FA, Red Bull, Footasylum and more.
His work has been featured in articles and published by PhMuseum, VICE, The Guardian, Creative Review, British Journal of Photography, BBC News and National Geographic.
